We bring the whole night to you. Costumes for every guest, original Jamaican stories, a live DJ, a private chef and a silent cinema under the stars to close it out. Adults playing detective, kids on motorised rides outside. Everyone has the night of their lives.
Every Di Nex murder mystery party is planned down to the last detail. Here is how your night looks from start to finish.
Every one of our murder mysteries is an original Jamaican story, written here and set here. These are not packaged kits from overseas. They are real Jamaican places, real Jamaican eras and characters that feel like people you have met. Once you book, we send you the full game with every script, all the evidence and the sealed solution.
🎭 We share the full game after you book. These descriptions are written to give you the feeling without giving anything away. Once you book you get everything: all the character scripts, the full evidence pack and the sealed solution. You do not need any experience running these things. Our game master takes care of the whole night.
"Three nights before the most violent election in Jamaican history, someone left a body in a room no one could have left."
Kingston, Jamaica. November 1976. The JLP constituency office on Denham Town Road. Three nights before election day, during a State of Emergency, a senior party operative is found dead in his locked upstairs office. Door bolted from the inside, window padlocked from the inside, no weapon in the room. Everyone in that building had a reason to want him gone and every one of them has a reason to want someone else blamed for it.
How the killer got out and left the room sealed behind them is the heart of this mystery. The answer is in the building and it has been there the whole time. Someone just needs to look at the right thing.
Game I is the complete experience at no charge. Book with Di Nex Adventure. We send you the full game pack, sort the costumes and can supply a professional Game Master for the night.
"Two thousand people watched him die. Nobody touched him. He opened the bottle himself. He never put it down."
Kingston, Jamaica. 1993. A packed dancehall clash at full capacity. Selector King Vega, the man everyone paid to see, collapses at his booth after opening a sealed bottle. The seal was intact, he opened it himself and he never put it down. The poison got there some other way. Someone in that venue did something extraordinary and they are still in the building.
The venue steward keeps a notebook with everything written down, every movement, every face, every time. But the notebook itself has something odd about it: the first page does not quite match the rest. That difference is where this whole night turns.
Full game pack with all character cards, digital props, and the complete host playscript. Di Nex can supply costumes, catering, a DJ, and a professional Game Master.
"The door has not opened since midnight. At 7 AM, the studio runner notices something is wrong. The bolt is still thrown from inside."
Kingston, Jamaica. September 1985. A legendary recording studio on Spanish Town Road. The producer always worked alone in Studio B after midnight and everyone knew not to knock. By 7 AM the runner knows something is wrong. The spring bolt is thrown from inside, the padlock is set on the ventilation grille and the window was bricked over years ago. There is no way in. There is no way out. And there is a body.
The CCTV shows the corridor uninterrupted all night except for one gap of exactly twenty-two seconds. The recording equipment lives in an unlocked utility closet. And two screws in the ventilation grille do not match the other twelve.
Full game pack with all character cards, digital props (CCTV log, boarding pass, studio access records, secondary accounting ledger), and complete host playscript.
"The rooftop pool is magnetically locked. The access log shows only one entry all night, and that was the victim himself."
Montego Bay, Jamaica. August 2003. Saracen's Peak villa, built in the shadow of Rose Hall Great House. An American developer who was here to close a controversial land deal is found dead in the rooftop pool at dawn. The gate is magnetically locked. The key-card log shows one entry all night: the victim himself. His card is still in his pocket. Beside the body: a hand-carved obeah figurine pointing at one of the guests.
That gate opened twice. The log shows one entry. One of the guests knows exactly how to clone an NFC key-card and is not especially discreet about it. And something happened in the pump room at 2:14 AM that nobody has explained yet.
Full game pack with all character cards, digital props (key-card log, toxicology report, pump room activation log, payroll sheet anomalies), and complete host playscript.
"The yard already has the answer. The yard is wrong. The truth is older and heavier than anyone expected."
Trench Town, Kingston. July 1968. Yard No. 7, Sixth Street. Phillip Mais Junior is found dead in his locked room, one wound through the heart, door bolted from the inside, window barred and no weapon anywhere. The yard has already decided who did it because the yard always decides quickly. Today the answer is Whappie. But the room says otherwise. And what really happened goes back thirty years to a night at the Rae Town gully that one person has carried alone ever since.
The wound tells the whole story if you understand the angle. The method was quiet and precise and the killer never had to be inside the room. Under the floorboards of Room 4 there is a tin box. Inside is a letter from 1938. What that letter says changes everything.
Full game pack with all eight character cards, digital props (the 1938 letter, coroner's note, Phillip's notebook with flagged entries, Marcia's witness statement), and the complete host playscript. Recommended for experienced groups or as a series finale.
"Five original whodunits for ages 7–14. Every child gets a character, a costume, clues to chase, and a mystery to solve. Cases run 60–90 minutes and can run simultaneously alongside the adult game."
Every child gets a character card, a role in the mystery and clues suited to their age. Our Game Master runs the case at the right pace. Cases wrap up in 60 to 90 minutes, timed so everyone comes back together for the outdoor cinema at the end. Mystery Squad Academy works as a standalone kids' party or alongside the adult game.
Mystery Squad Academy runs standalone or alongside the adult Dead Inna di Dark game. WhatsApp to choose your story and plan the evening.
We design and sort a custom costume for every guest. No two characters are the same and nobody shows up without knowing exactly who they are playing. You get your character weeks before the night so you have plenty of time to perfect your alibi.
A Di Nex murder mystery party is not a same-week booking. Custom costumes, character scripting, catering planning, DJ briefing, venue coordination and kids' entertainment all require weeks of preparation. The earlier you book, the better your night will be.
💡 Everything is delivered digitally after you book. All character scripts, the evidence pack and the sealed solution. You do not need any experience to run it.
