Minimum 10 guests · A 10-guest night is $60,000

The minimum applies to corporate, non-profit and church bookings too. Parties of 3 to 9 are billed as 10.

Schools

Primary · Prep · High School · Sixth Form
Per seat Seats, screen, projector, silent headphones, one popcorn serving per person, and flooring only where seats need protecting $1,500
Minimum 30 seats · No separate setup fee

Schools pay a single per-seat rate with no setup charge. This rate covers the equipment and one serving of popcorn per person, and nothing beyond that. No décor, no prop tickets and no popcorn service. It is priced to be reachable for a school budget, which is only possible because everything else is stripped out.

Show your film to a real audience before you lock the cut. We run a private screening, capture how the room responds moment by moment, and send you a confidential report on what landed and what did not. Priced per screening, because it depends on the size of the room and where you want it held.

These are listed here so nothing on your quote is a surprise. Most bookings carry none of them.

Light-Control Fee Indoor spaces that need blacking out. Confirmed by a site visit and payable after, so it never blocks your booking $5,000

How it actually
gets confirmed.

Deposits

A 10% deposit confirms a standard booking. Where Di Nex sources the venue for you, the deposit is 50%, and that covers both the venue and our service. Deposits are non-refundable and go toward mobilisation. The balance is due 24 hours before your event.

Your date is not held until you pay

The website takes no payment and blocks no dates. A date is only held once your deposit receipt reaches us and we confirm it in writing. Until then it stays open to anybody else who asks for it. For Valentine's, Christmas or a public holiday, move early.

How to pay

When we can screen

  • 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Indoor only, in a space where the light can be blocked out.
  • 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Indoor or outdoor. For outdoor, 7:00 PM is the recommendation, because the picture needs real darkness.
  • 9:00 PM is the latest start we accept. Films finish around midnight.

When we arrive

Two hours before your start time for up to 10 guests, three hours for 11 or more. We need that window clear to build the setup properly.

How far ahead to book

Minimum two weeks in advance, maximum eight months.

Quotes and discounts

Quotes are valid for 14 days. We do not discount standard bookings. Corporate and agency clients booking multiple events can ask about retainer rates, and those are the only reductions we offer.
